The 2017 Dynasty Off-Season Begins!

Will Kirk Cousin’s stay the starting QB in Washington? Will Mychal Kendricks be traded to a team that fits his skills? Will Le’Veon Bell hit free agency? Will Jaylon Smith complete his comeback from injury?  will Jamaal Charles? Which rookie will blow up the combine and fly up NFL (and dynasty) draft boards? All of these questions have one thing in common, they will be answered at some point between February 15th and September 7th, during the NFL off-season.  We here at Dynasty Football Fan LOVE this time of year.

This is where values of both players and draft picks can swing wildly from one news day to the next, making that flier you picked up off of waivers before the season ended much more valuable.  Or conversely, you may find that your only star RB gets a top rookie running mate to share the backfield with, submarining his value. Either way, a lot is going to happen and it’s going to be fun to watch, trade, speculate and most of all…take advantage of opportunities.

Dynasty player values are like a stock market.  Values to up and down based on perceived value related to the public information that is out there.  The private information could tell a very different story and this typically makes dynasty player values inflated or deflated when not all information is available.  Take advantage of this “irrational exuberance” as former Fed President Alan Greenspan once said.  Keep aware of the news, be objective in your assessment, watch you tube videos of rookies when you can.  The little things count to make a dynasty off-season successful.  Below is a calendar of events for your convenience.  Good luck and enjoy!
